FOR TODAY
Tuesday, March 3, 2015
Outside my window...
50 degrees, cloudy and windy
It looks kind of like tornado weather and with
the warm temperature changing tomorrow afternoon
to cold, the conditions are ripe for one....
Birds have been active...we're still seeing lots of
Goldfinch and the males are beginning
to show more color.....the Cardinals are beautiful, also
I am thinking...
about my daughter, talking with a lawyer
this morning about settling R's estate....
I am thankful...
for every blessing...
for Honey Bear
for good friends who are there in time of need
for our church family
for my blogging buddies
for changing seasons
In the kitchen...
some leftovers in the fridge
plenty of fruit
soup and milk and crackers
in case of bad weather
I am wearing...
Oh, dear, its pajamas again
I am creating...
squares for the SAL quilt
agendas for meetings this week
emails and reminders
lists for an upcoming trip
journal entries
I am going...
to stay home, today, I think
and work on my crafts....
maybe walk on the treadmill
I am wondering...
if we'll get the ice and snow they are
predicting for tomorrow afternoon and
evening...I sure hope not
I am reading...
just finished: Where We Belong
by Catherine Ryan Hyde
and haven't begun another
I am hoping...
Daughter gets good news today...
for clear roads on Wednesday night and Thursday...
A Song that stays on my mind...
Golden by Lady Antebellum
I am looking forward to...
Spring
Vacation
Things being more settled for Daughter
and the wee ones
I am learning
Life throws curves
Around the house...
the rooms are mostly tidy
some laundry to do
all is quite
I am pondering...
Ecclesiastes 3
For everything there is a season
a time for every activity under heaven
A time to be born and a time to die
A time to plant and a time to harvest
A time to kill and a time to heal
A time to tear down and a time to build up
A time to cry and a time to laugh
A time to grieve and a time to dance
A time to scatter stones and a time to gather stones
A time to embrace and a time to turn away
A time to search and a time to quit searching
A time to keep and a time to throw away
A time to tear and a time to mend
A time to be quiet and a time to speak
A time to love and a time to hate
A time for war and a time for peace
A favorite quote for today...
And yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time
.......Ecclesiastes 3:11a
One of my favorite things...
Spending time with Honey Bear
A few plans for the rest of the week:
Fellowship dinner at church on Wednesday
the menu: Ham, Hashbrown Casserole,
green beans, biscuit
A meeting Thursday which could be rescheduled
Book Club on Friday: discussing:
The Boys in the Boat
A peek into my day...
A Curious Cat |
check in over at Peggy's place for other daybooks
Hi Mama Bear! You can never go wrong with wearing PJ's. People even wear them to go shopping now, lol! I sure hope you don't get a tornado...or snow! Your curious cat is very cute. I hope you have a blessed week.
ReplyDeleteA pajama day..... How lovely!!!
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
We're in the 60s today but supposed to get ice and snow tomorrow. I hope they're wrong, or at least that it won't be as bad as they're saying it might get.
ReplyDeleteI have some projects I need to get going on but have been feeling rather blah this week - maybe because the last couple of weeks were busy.
As always, I enjoyed your Daybook post! I love pajama days!
