A Simple Woman's Daybook

For Today... Monday, February 8, 2016

Outside my window...its 46 degrees and sunny, hard to believe that tonight they are predicting snow.

A Bible verse I'm sharing...Matthew 25:35,36&40: For I was hungry and you fed me. I was thirsty and you gave me drink. I was a stranger and you invited me into your home. I was naked and you gave me clothing. I was sick and you cared for me. I was in prison and you visited me. ....I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you  were doing it to me.

I am thinking...that it hadn't been so long ago that I posted

I am thankful...to live in a land that is free....so I can worship as I please

I am wearing...jeans and a white shirt

I am creating...
and scrapbook pages and cards, too

I am going...to my WMU group in a few minutes and afterward I am going to wash my car fill it with gas and stop by the bank for some cash

I am wondering...about tomorrow and my plans to go sew at a friend's house...will the weather keep me home

I am reading...Under the Wide and Starry Sky, March Book Club selection, it is a novel about the relationship between Fanny and Louis Stevenson (author of Treasure Island)

I am hoping...to have a chance to work in the studio when I return from my meeting

A song that stays on my mind...Blessed Assurance

In my kitchen...leftovers in fridge

A favorite quote for today... "To travel is hopefully a better thing than to arrive" Robert Louis Stevenson

From my photo album...
One of my Christmas gifts from Honey Bear

One of my favorite things...Sweet Tart candy rolls

Late last month, I saw the movie: Brooklyn

  1. They've been predicting snow here as well but every time I look at my weather app, it is showing a little less snow, so hopefully we won't get much. Love the quilt! I am hoping to get into the craft room this week, too.
