A Miserable Monday

Today it was very rainy, hurricane Patricia sent some much
needed precipitation our way....It was steady but
not very heavy...More of our Autumn leaves
are now on the ground.
Below is a photo of our little pond from earlier
in the Summer....
For three days last week, we were at beautiful
Lake Guntersville State Park
for a conference....the
weather was beautiful....
this is a view from the balcony...
the conference was packed with activities
so there wasn't much time to enjoy the park
Daughter's Cross Stitch
won First in the County and State
then received best of show/viewer's
choice.
I spent today reading, working jigsaw puzzles on
my kindle, and cross stitching....

  4. Congratulations to your daughter! It's been rainy here, too. I was going to go to the store today but decided it could wait til tomorrow - I don't know if the weather will be any better then though.
