Monday, Monday

Good Morning, Everyone
I hope you had a wonderful weekend
Honey Bear and I spent a nice relaxing one here at home.
We woke up to temperatures in the 20s both Saturday and Sunday
Who would want to go out in that? Well, Honey Bear did go out for a little while but he wore multiple layers of clothing.
And typical for Alabama, this morning the temperature is in the 40s and expected to reach the 60s this afternoon.
The sun is shinning, the wind chimes are singing and the birds and squirrels are cavorting.

Me, I've started a load of laundry, made the bed, worked on my disaster preparedness plan and am settling in for a cup of coffee to visit my friends in the blogging world.
So,
Hello World!

  2. Wow, I would love temperatures like you get. We ended up with about 6 inches of snow and high winds. Temperatures have dropped well below freezing and from what I saw on the internet travel on our highways is not recommended.

Ice fishing for the men in my life seems to be lots of fun. They disappear for most of the day. To be safe fishing on the ice, the ice has to be at least 2 feet thick, thicker if you plan on driving your vehicle out onto the ice. Harvey usually parks and walks out to where they want to fish.

    God bless.

  4. Sounds like a relaxing weekend. We ended up going to dinner and a movie on Saturday. Then our son and his best girl came over on Sunday so we had a great family day. (Daughter and SIL live here with us) Hope you have a wonderful week.

  5. Happy Monday! We had a chilly weekend here, too. Ed braved the cold to go outside briefly, too. He doesn't like being cooped up :)

  7. ...and happy day to you too Mama B!!! It's been dreary somewhat here, with gray skies yesterday and looks like it will be the same today. But who knows what the sunrise will bring.

20s in temps sound way too cold for this ol' lady!!!
