Meet Me On Monday/Monday Quiz About Me

Java's back with the 63rd edition of
MMOM
my post for Heather's "quiz about me" will follow
Java's Questions:.......and my answers
1.  Right now I could really eat _________?
Since I've just enjoyed half a Blueberry muffin from Costco, I'm really not in the mood for anything else.....but definitely could go for another cup of coffee...
2.  Full length pants or capri's?
They each have their place.....if the temperature is above 60, I'd have to say capris....any cooler and I'd go for longer pants unless I'm walking a nature trail or going to dinner or church......I only began wearing capris a couple of years ago and I prefer the ones that just barely cover the knee and no longer.
3.  The best smelling men's cologne (women's perfume for the guys playing) is ________?
Since I have no sense of smell, this really doesn't apply to me.....years ago before I lost it, there was a men's cologne that I really loved for Jim to wear but I can't remember the name of it.....once upon a time, Heaven Scent was my favorite women's cologne.....now with my allergies, I'd just prefer if no one wore cologne in close quarters.
4.  What is your favorite kind of Cheesecake?
Cheesecake or Key Lime Pie are my favorite desserts to order in a restaurant.....I like my Cheesecake plain with cherry topping...
5.  What TV Show do you currently never miss?
It has been a couple of months since I've really watched any TV....I was watching Amazing Race for a few weeks but then forgot about it.....last night when we first went to bed, Jim had a National Geographic show on about the Inuit people in the Frozen North and how they got their food. I watched that for a few minutes before I turned to my book, he turned the TV off and went to sleep. I'd say it wasn't on longer than 15 minutes.

Thanks, Java

Heather at Acting Balanced has started a new Monday edition
of meet and greet. Check it out!
Heather's questions:
1. Finish this sentence - I dream of....
the time when we no longer have to write a big check to include with our income tax return.....it really hurt to cough up that one yesterday.....recently we payed off our mortgage and didn't leave much surplus in our accounts, I hadn't counted on having to deplete them even more for the IRS.......

2. If you could choose your last meal, what would it be?
Chicken Cannelloni from Terra nova's Restaurant

3. What was your favorite toy as a child?
My first thought was books but since those aren't really toys, it would be my dolls. We didn't have a lot of toys....we played cowboys with pieces of wood for guns, our dishes were can lids and aluminum pie tins, anything that Mom had discarded from the kitchen. We usually received a doll at Christmas.

4. What color looks best on you?
Red

And don't forget to add a 5th Question on your own blog so we can answer as we hop around!
#5  Which way do you load your toilet tissue roll.....to unwind under or over?
Join us for this blog hop and I'll try to drop by and answer your #5 question......my answer is over

  1. Neither my husband nor I are into colognes or perfumes much. Some of them give me an instant headache.

We played with a lot of everyday things repurposed into toys as well. :-)

And the TP unwinds over the top. If it is under, I can't see the end of it til it's nearly to the ground.

  2. TP unwinds over the top, that way when I have company, I can make that cute little v. Your toys growing up were a lot like ours. With a little imagination, it is amazing what a block of wood or a lid can become. Have a good day.

  3. Love me some Key Lime pie! Friends brought dinner the other night and I was so excited for dessert--until we realized they'd bought Lemon Meringue by mistake. So disappointing...

  4. My favorite scent on a man is my husband's deodorant! I've given him the cologne and body wash as gifts, but he doesn't use them, just the deodorant, but Mmmm, that deodorant!

TP is over, like a waterfall! The waterfall thing is from my years working at Minnesota Fabrics. Over just looks neater.
