Hodge Podge Wednesday

Welcome to May Day Wednesday Hodge Podge #25
I'm joining in with Joyce and others to answer these questions.
1. Have you ever been served breakfast in bed? Did you enjoy that? If someone were serving you breakfast in bed this coming weekend what would you hope to see on the tray?
Yes, my daughter made breakfast for me and served it to me in bed when she was a teenager...fruit, toast, bacon eggs, coffee
2. What is one piece of advice you would give a new mother?
Make time for yourself and time to spend with your husband...everyone will be happier...I was given this advice when I was pregnant with my first child by an older woman and again by my OB just before I was discharged after my son was born...it was excellent advice and I followed it.
3. When was the last time you wanted to scream? Explain.
I don't remember but it was probably when I had made some mistake while sewing and had to take out and redo...I hate that.
4. Can you hula hoop?
Well, I certainly haven't tried lately but I used to be able to do it.
5. What is something people do in traffic that really bothers you?
Fail to give a signal or stop at a stop sign...also those who turn left from the right lane...and I don't like tailgaters.
6. What do you do when people don't admit they're wrong?
agree to disagree until I can prove otherwise
7. What is the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the word 'fun'?
Singing Karaoke
8. Insert your own random thought here.
I usually combine my Hodge Podge Wednesday with Outdoor Wednesday...I had some photos on my camera that I had made this weekend in Smyrna, Tennessee...for some reason I have been unable to upload them to the computer so it will have to wait until later.

  1. Mama Bear, you sing karaoke? Who knew!

Good advice for the new mother!

I cracked up last night when I read your comment about your strange dream, concerning purple cats and an animal conrol officer. LOL Thanks for sharing that one!

Hope all is well with you these days, following the storm. Take care. (Kathy)

  3. I so agree with #2. And I'd feel the same with #3 and 5.
