Meet Me On Monday

Well, we have snow again (sorry, Paulie).
It began snowing around 8 PM last night and it looks like we have about 6 inches...more in places....much more than on Christmas Day.
Honey Bear is in Nashville this week and he left way before the snow started last night.
I had the outside lights on and watched it snow until bedtime (around 11:30)...we had some visitors: a pair of Opossums trying to find a warm place, I guess...anyway one of them kept trying to dig under the back porch..I threw some things at it until it left...that happened twice.

Welcome to the 30th edition of
"Meet Me On Monday!"
hosted by Java.

Questions:

1.  Have you (only you..not a group) ever won first place in anything?
Yes, I have won first place ribbons in poetry, prose, photography, crocheting, and scrap booking
2.  Are your toes always painted (sorry guys...this question for girls only)?
The Toenails you mean? Yes they have been for the last 8 years or so.
3.  What color eyes do you have?
Blue
4.  Look to your left....what do you see?
Snow, trees, the back fence, the patio furniture, more snow and a Junco under the feeder....also the rest of the sofa and the window.
5.  Soft cookies or crunchy cookies?
Soft and preferably still warm from the oven

  1. Wow, you're a woman of many talents! I love soft, warm cookies, too.

You asked whether my craft room was set up. Sort of. It's also the guest room, so various ones were in there when my son and daughter-in-law first moved up and then when my other son visited. Other rooms have taken first priority. But one day here soon I want to post pictures of the whole house. I need to get a few more things hung up with hubby's help and get a couple of chairs.

  2. Snow again - lucky thing! We have had endless amounts of rain, which isn't a bad thing - it's our wet season, but a bit of sunshine would be nice! :)Mmmmm! Soft warm cookies are my best too! If I close my eyes, I can almost smell them!

Now I'm hungry for soft warm cookies!! hehe Wow, you sure did get lots of snow but isn't it so pretty:-) It snowed a bit here on Friday but no real accumulation, we can still see the grass in some spots. What we're battling right now is the COLD! Brrrrr!! It's 5F as I type this...was -7F when I got up this morning.

How wonderful that you have won so many first place ribbons, you are one talented lady:-) xoxo

  4. What a talented lady you are--to do so many things so well!
Wow, you did get some snow, didn't you? We got sleet and ice--which I hate. It makes the trees break.
About that oppossum...my daughter-in-law saw a skunk on their back porch on Friday night! Woah--I hope he was just passing through!
