Meet Me On Monday

Welcome to the 29th edition of
"Meet Me On Monday!"
brought to you by Java.

"Its a great way to to meet new friends and for others to get to know me Monday at a time!!!" quoted by the Chacogirl!! I will make this SIMPLE and FUN!!!

1.  Do you have any New Year's resolutions?
I don't call them resolutions. I call them goals and yes I do make them...I make plans to be a better person in different areas of my that I made this year is to get back to morning 'Quiet Time' before computer time....I also make project goals such as finishing UFOs....the genealogy scrapbooks that I made this year, for my family was one project that had been on my list for a couple of years.
2.  What food item are you craving right now?
Well, since I haven't had breakfast yet, I'm just wanting food, period. However, for a week or so, I've been craving a good steak...I don't eat red meat very often and it has probably been a year since I've had a steak.
3.  When is your birthday?
May 4th, I'm a Taurus
4.  What were you doing an hour ago?
Reading my Bible and writing in my journal....then I did some work for my women's club..trying to organize my thoughts and plans for the meeting next week so I can make an financial committee meets tomorrow and I had to supply them with the charities we had supported in 2009-2010.
5.  Last thing you cooked?
New Year's Dinner: Boiled Ham, Cornbread, Great Northern Beans, Spinach
We had leftover Barbecue for lunch yesterday and went out to dinner.

  1. We don't eat red meat very often, either, but sometimes I do crave it.

  2. I like the idea of goals rather than resolutions too...seems more positive.
Every once in awhile I love a nice steak too....if you have one enjoy....hugs, Linda

  3. I'm a goal girl too! I hate calling them resolutions especially when weight loss is one of them. LOL
    Happy New Year!

  4. I'm a goal girl here too. I also challenge myself all throughout the year. I like goals far better than resolutions. Hugs

  5. I stopped making New Year's resolutions years ago because I never could keep them! lol I think "goals" is much more appropriate:-) I had steak on New Year's Eve...don't think I could go without red meat for very long. Wishing you a wonderful week!! xoxo

  6. I love "goals"!!!! Thanks for sharing.

  7. Finishing UFO's is a good goal. I have a few that need finishing off too.
    Have a great week!

  8. I really want to get back to journal writing. Good on you.
