Outdoor Wednesday

This is what my first white Christmas looked like.

He's discovered the Squirrel's corn.

Snowing in the Pines.

The snow on Christmas Day was a wet snow which quickly accumulated
on the Pine branches...we lost two limbs before Honey Bear went out and shook the branches to remove the snow.
The snow on the day after Christmas was a dry snow and didn't do this.

  1. Brrrrrr..brrrr. that look's cold!
My Christmas was a warm one in Florida, with the day after bringing a little flutter of snow flakes (melted long before they hit the ground - but for us that was a huge deal!). Thank you for visiting my site (you commented on my Simple Woman's Daybook post). Adored the cardinal photograph!

  2. What a beautiful Christmas you had! I love the pictures of the birds especially the one with the cardinal. Very pretty!

  3. What a beautiful Christmas! We are just wet and soggy...and it's raining again!

  4. Very pretty! We had our first white Christmas, too, though we didn't get as much as you did. Love the cardinal photo.

  5. Beautiful snow pics! All we had were some flurries, but we were proud to get those :)

  6. I love the look of the snow on the comforting and serene looking. The beautiful red cardinal what a beautiful background the snow makes...lovely pictures...hope you enjoyed your first snow...:)

  7. So many are having their first white Christmas' and I am still hoping for a surprise in the New Year...

Happy New Year to you and yours.

  9. I'm glad your first white Christmas had such a pretty, fluffy snow. Happy Outdoor Wednesday.

  10. I enjoyed seeing Huntsville's snow in your pictures! I haven't talked to my family there yet, my sister was at her daughter's house a few days.

    Happy New Year!

  11. Don't you just love it? Beautiful.

  12. I am sooooo jealous! Even the south gets snow and where is ours? None here this year so far. Good thing I went to visit relatives in November and had some there. . . sigh
